Renji/Ichigo, PG-13. A gift for Akuni, on the occasion of her birthday, '08. In which Ichigo messes up a mission, there is an encounter, and Renji reassures him that all he needs is a little patience. '"Strength isn't just about force, man." Renji wasn't looking at him, his voice softer than usual but at the same time rougher.' [2300 words]

In Hide and Hair
Renji/Ichigo, PG-13. Third story for my 11 Reasons challenge: 11 reasons Ichigo is glad Renji was sent to the human world. In which Ichigo is forced to tackle Renji's hair as an apology. '“So I’ll get going. Gotta get back to Sereitei and um… do stuff. Stuff I had planned.” Renji’s bared chest rose and fell fast.' [3330 words]

Restless
Renji/Ichigo, hard R. Awkward smut. This is based on the anime and contains some very minor spoilers for the Bount arc. In which Renji is forced to spend the night at Ichigo's house. 'Ichigo considered throwing a pillow at his head, but that would only wake him up, and that would only lead to arguing, which would most likely lead to fighting.' [2900 words]

Best Worst Day
Renji/Ichigo, hard R. This was meant to be a ficlet, but it got quite long. Written for Valentine's Day, 2007. In which Renji manages to mess up, but gets what he wants anyway. 'If Renji hadn't already been certain Kurosaki was a few Bankai short of a zanpakutō, he was now.' [5300 words]

Red Rain
Renji/Ichigo, PG-13. My second story for the 11 Reasons challenge. In which Ichigo gets himself into trouble, and Renji is not happy with him. 'His knees buckled momentarily before he righted himself, and he hitched Ichigo up against him. There was no time to lose concentration now.' [2700 words]

More Than Skin Deep
Renji/Ichigo, PG. Written for the 11 Reasons challenge on livejournal. My prompt was 'neck/collarbone'. After a nasty hollow fight, Renji helps Ichigo clean up. "I keep telling you not to go storming in before you've assessed the situation, you dolt." [1400 words]

Waste of Time
Ulquiorra/Szayelaporro, PG-13. This is not to be taken too seriously (as if anyone could!). Grimmjow's Caja Negación lasts far longer than Ulquiorra expected, and things are very different when he finally gets out. '“Well we can’t just sit here and do nothing. I’ve eaten all my friends, and you don’t have any anyway, so all we’ve got left is each other.” Szayelaporro twisted slightly on the rock so he was facing Ulquiorra more directly.' [2000 words]

Ulquiorra/Szayelaporro, PG. Power-struggles. This was inspired by a meme on my LiveJournal, in which people chose pairings for me to talk about. Hilde chose U/S, and my paragraph turned into a ficlet. 'His words were abruptly choked off as Ulquiorra sprang forward, his zanpakutō drawn in a heartbeat and pressing against the tanned column of Szayelaporro's throat.' [750 words]

Kyouraku/Ukitake, PG. Mild angst in places. Set during Ukitake and Kyouraku's time at the Academy as students. In which things are lost and promises are made. This was my first ever Bleach fic. 'He became sure, as time rolled on and as Shunsui’s banter grew more risqué, that something wasn’t quite right with the tea.' [3400 words]

Pit Stop
Renji/Shuuhei, NC-17. A short porny ficlet because I was craving this pairing something chronic. Set pre-mangaverse, and there are no spoilers. The boys take a quick break during a routine reconnaissance. 'Shuuhei closed in, slipping his own belt from around his waist. He let his zanpakutō drop to the dirt with a dull clang, paying it no mind.' [1500 words]

Byakuya/Ulquiorra, G. This fits into a story my friend Akuni is currently writing, but readers who don't yet know her verse can consider it AU. After a little searching, Byakuya finds Ulquiorra in the study of his mansion. [230 words]
